Butterfly valve is a type of regulating valve with a simple structure, and can also be used for on-off control of low-pressure pipeline media. The electric ventilation butterfly valve is a non closed type butterfly valve. Electric pneumatic ventilation butterfly valves are used in ventilation and environmental protection engineering in industries such as chemical, building materials, power plants, glass, etc., as pipeline control devices for regulating flow or cutting off gas medium in dusty cold or hot air gas pipelines. This ventilation valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.

Ventilation butterfly valve is a non closed type butterfly valve widely used in production processes such as building materials, metallurgy, mining, and power. It is used for connecting, opening, closing, or regulating medium flow in pipelines with a medium temperature ≤ 300 ℃ and a nominal pressure of 0.1Mpa.

Working principle of electric ventilation butterfly valve

The electric ventilation butterfly valve is driven by an electric motor to drive the actuator, allowing the butterfly plate to rotate freely within a 90 ° range to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or regulating medium flow. Electric actuators are generally 220V or 380V, switch type and adjustable type.

Key points of ventilation butterfly valve installation

1. The position, height, and inlet and outlet directions of the device must meet the design requirements. It is important to note that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the arrow direction marked on the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight.

2. Before installing the valve, it is necessary to conduct a visual inspection, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the current national standard "General Valve Markings" GB12220. Strength and tightness tests should be conducted before the device is installed, and it can only be used after passing the tests. During the strength test, the test pressure shall be 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the valve shell and packing shall be deemed qualified if there is no leakage for no less than 5 minutes. During the tightness test, the test pressure shall be 1.1 times the nominal pressure; The duration of the test shall comply with the requirements of GB50243.
