Working principle of pneumatic ball valve

The ball of the pneumatic ball valve is transformed from a plug valve. Its center of the ball rotates 90°, and the ball rotates around the centerline of the valve body to achieve opening. There is a circular through hole or channel passing through its axis. When the center of the ball rotates to 90°, the valve is in a tightly closed state. When the actuator is working, only a small rotational torque is needed to close the valve tightly, so that the principle of quick cut-off can be achieved.

Pneumatic ball valves are mainly used in flow pipelines that quickly cut off, distribute and change media. The pneumatic ball valve opens and closes quickly and is suitable for large and small diameters. The use of V-shaped balls can accurately adjust the medium flow. There are two types of pneumatic ball valve structure, one is the O-type ball valve core, the O-type ball valve core is a floating precision casting, the flow port is the same as the pipe diameter, and is mainly used as a cut-off switch. The other is a V-shaped ball core, which adopts a fixed structure with a V-shaped cutout on the ball core. After installing a positioner on the actuator, it can adjust the proportion of the fiber-containing and granular media.
